2. What personal data we process

When using the Mentem service, we may process the following data.

Data provided at registration:

- first and last name

- address

- phone number

- e-mail address

- age or age category

Data generated during use of the service:

- training statistics

- exercise history

- information about activity in the system

These data are used primarily to personalise training and display statistics to the user.

Technical data:

- IP address

- system technical logs

- cookies

- analytical data on use of the service

Mentem does not store user passwords in readable form.

3. Purpose of personal data processing

We process personal data primarily for the following purposes:

- creation and management of a user account, invoicing

- provision of the Mentem service

- storage of training statistics

- ensuring the functionality and security of the system

- processing payments and issuing invoices

- sending system e-mails related to the service

- sending marketing communications (newsletter)

Data are not used for medical diagnosis or health assessment.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of:

Performance of a contract – operation of the user account and provision of the Mentem service.

Legitimate interest – ensuring the security of the system, preventing misuse of the service and technical administration of the platform.

User consent – for example for sending marketing communications.

5. How long we retain data

We retain personal data only for the period necessary for the provision of the Mentem service.

During the period of an active user account, personal data are retained for the purpose of operating the service,

storing training statistics and ensuring the functionality of the user account.

If the user cancels their account or requests its deletion:

- personal data are archived for a maximum period of 60 days,

- during this period the data may be restored in the event of technical or operational problems,

- after this period the personal data are permanently deleted from the system.

Statistical data may be retained after the deletion of personal data only in anonymised form,

which no longer allows identification of a specific user.

6. Anonymised data and research

Mentem may use anonymised statistical data on the use of the service for:

- improving training algorithms

- analysis of the effectiveness of cognitive training

- research and analytical purposes

These data are processed only in anonymised form and it is not possible to identify a specific person from them.

7. Transfer of data to third parties

We use certain external service providers to ensure the operation of the service.

Personal data may be processed by the following processors:

Analytical services

Google Analytics

These providers may only process data necessary for the operation of the service.

Mentem does not transfer personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. Cookies and analytical tools

The Mentem website uses cookies.

Cookies are used primarily to:

- ensure the correct functionality of the website

- analyse traffic (Google Analytics)

- marketing purposes

The use of cookies can be adjusted by the user in their internet browser.

9. Security of personal data

The operator uses technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.

These include in particular:

- security of the server infrastructure

- restricted access to data

- encrypted communication (HTTPS)

- security monitoring of the system

10. User rights

Under the GDPR, the user has the right to:

- request access to their personal data

- request correction of inaccurate data

- request erasure of personal data

- request restriction of processing

- object to processing

- request data portability
